At only 19 years old, Diamond Stone is still a few years away from his first legal drink. But that’s not the only thing the Los Angeles Clippers rookie is missing out on by being younger than 21.
On Wednesday, the team tweeted a video featuring the likes of Stone, Blake Griffin, DeAndre Jordan and a few other members of the perennial Western Conference contenders leaving a practice session. The group of NBA players all pile into a couple of vans, where the important decision of who gets to control the mighty aux cord is then debated.
Unfortunately for the former Terp, he’s not old enough to have a turn, according to Los Angeles’ DJ.

“Diamond can’t do the music,” Jordan tells the camera. “You gotta be 21 to do the music.”
“He can’t do it yet,” he adds. “His third NBA season, he’ll be able to do the music.”
As a second-round draft pick, Stone is going to have to do all he can to crack the Clippers’ rotation this season. And if he’s able to stick around, by 2018, maybe, just maybe, he’ll be granted access to the aux cord.
