Things have been looking up for Maryland football’s Perry Hills.
The senior quarterback beat out four other quarterbacks to earn the starting job, and so far that’s seemed like the right call. He’s avoided throwing an interception and is completing more than 60 percent of his passes through the first three games.
With Maryland coming off two straight games in Florida, the media did learn something terribly sad about the Pittsburgh resident: He has never been to Disney World.
“I haven’t been to any huge theme parks besides Kennywood from Pittsburgh,” the quarterback said.
Hills went on to note that his family isn’t big on taking long vacations.
“The most traveling I’ve done is for sports and then South Carolina for family,” he said.
Even though Hills has not yet been to Disney World, the desire to enjoy the park is there.
“I would want to go Disney World though, that’s definitely on the bucket list,” said Hills.
Perry Hills has never gotten to ride Splash Mountain or get his picture taken with Elsa. He will simply have to settle for being the starting quarterback on a currently undefeated team.
