Student Entertainment Events announced Monday that comedian T.J. Miller will headline their annual Homecoming Comedy Show Thursday, Sep. 29 in Xfinity Center. New Girl star Damon Wayans Jr. will also be performing.
Tickets for the event will go on sale Tuesday, Sep. 6 at 10 a.m. The event is open to students and the general public. For students, it will cost $10 for a bowl ticket and $15 to sit on the floor. General public tickets are $30 for bowl and $40 for floor. Tickets can be purchased at umdtickets.com or the Stamp Ticket Office.
Both Miller and Wayans Jr. are stand-up comedians with some acting chops. Miller is most known for his role as Erlich Bachmann in HBO’s tech comedy Silicon Valley and has appeared in movies such as Deadpool and Big Hero 6. Outside of New Girl, Wayans Jr. has been in comedy movies such as Let’s Be Cops and How to Be Single.
This year’s Homecoming Comedy Show will mark a change for SEE as it will be the first time the event is held in Xfinity Center. The event was previously hosted in Cole Field House, which is now undergoing major renovations. Last year’s event, headlined by Hannibal Buress, was the last in that venue.
