UPDATE 11 p.m. Aug. 20:

One of the suspects in Saturday’s armed robbery at RJ Bentley’s turned himself in to Prince George’s County Police without incident Tuesday night, according to the department’s blog.

Police had obtained an arrest warrant Monday for the suspect, Delontae Keevon Britton, 22, of the 1200 block of Brentwood Road in Northeast Washington.

Employees told police two black men wearing ski masks — one of whom had a handgun — took an undisclosed amount of money as the restaurant was opening, said Prince George’s County Police spokeswoman Cpl. Maria McKinney on Saturday afternoon.

There were no injuries and the restaurant had no customers at the time, according to a post on the Prince George’s County Police Department blog late Saturday night.

A University Police crime alert also stated the suspects escaped the scene in a silver sedan, but McKinney said the use of a vehicle is still under investigation.

The car appears to be a silver Acura with Maryland tags, according to the blog post.
