Prince George’s County Police are searching for a male suspect in a robbery at the M&T Bank on Knox Road on Friday afternoon. 

At about 1:15 p.m. Friday, a black man approached a teller at the bank with a note demanding money. Police spokesman Harry Bond said the teller complied and the suspect fled the scene. No one was injured during the robbery.

Police described the suspect as wearing black pants, a black jacket and a black hat. 

Bond said police believe the suspect may have gotten into a car, though officers are still investigating.

M&T Bank was closed to the public as of 2:10 p.m.
