Terrapins football wide receivers coach Lee Hull was introduced as Morgan State’s new coach today at a press conference in Baltimore.

Hull worked for the Terps since 2008 and the final holdover from former coach Ralph Friedgen’s staff in College Park. Hull is most known for coaching current NFL players Darrius Heyward-Bey and Torrey Smith, who were first and second round draft picks, respectively.

Before the Terps, Hull coached at Oregon State form 2003-07, where he oversaw standout wide receivers Mike Hass and Sammie Strougher and running back Steven Jackson.

From 1998-2002, Hull held a variety of positions on the coaching staff at Holy Cross, his alma mater, including wide receivers coach, linebackers coach and passing game coordinator.

Hull is the second Terps assistant to leave coach Randy Edsall’s staff for a coaching job after defensive line coach Greg Gattuso took over Albany in late December.
