The Terrapins tennis team was back to its winning ways Friday afternoon.
The Terps won the double point and all six singles matches, defeating Towson, 7-0, at the Tennis Center at College Park.
The win improves the Terps’ record to 3-2 (0-1 ACC) and gives the team its first win since Jan. 25.
The Terps won all three double matches, picking up the double point.
In singles, five of the six Terps won in straight sets. In the other match, Gabby Srodowski, the no. 5 singles player, was taken to a third-set super-tie break but was able to pull out the victory, winning 6-7 (8-6), 6-4 (10-2).
The victory ends the Terps’ two-game losing streak heading into next Saturday’s home match against Columbia.
