QB Caleb Rowe prepares to pass the ball during Maryland’s 28-0 loss to Michigan on Oct. 3, 2015 at Byrd Stadium.

After throwing his nation-leading 12th interception in the third quarter of the Terrapins football team’s 28-0 loss to Michigan, Caleb Rowe was benched for the second game in a row.

Coach Randy Edsall said the Terps would make a change going forward after the game, but he didn’t say who would start when the Terps challenge No. 1 Ohio State on the road next weekend.

In his weekly teleconference Sunday afternoon, he didn’t name a starter.

“We will sit down, and we’ll talk and we might make a decision,” Edsall said. “We might not announce it until game time.”

Edsall didn’t rule out playing quarterback Perry Hills, who started the Terps’ first two games and leads the team with a 121.4 quarterback rating, though he was benched in favor of Rowe.

“Everybody is in play there,” Edsall said. “We have told Perry from the beginning, ‘Hey just because this happened now stay into it because you just don’t know what could happen. And he’s done that.”
