The Terrapins volleyball team beat George Washington, 3-0, at home today.
The Terps’ defense was key and helped hold the Colonials to under 20 points for two of three sets. The win came on the heels of a disappointing loss against Boston College yesterday.
It took the Terps a four-point comeback and two-consecutive kills in the third set to capture the match. Middle blocker Adreene Elliot and setter Remy McBain captured the last two points for the team’s straight-set victory.
The Terps will play No. 16 Tennessee tonight in the final match of the tournament at 7:30 p.m. in Comcast Pavilion.
