Forward Haley Brock celebrates with midfielder Riley Barger after Brock scored the only goal of the game as the No. 21 Terps defeated No. 3 Wake Forest, 1-0, on Sept. 22, 2013.

Terrapins women’s soccer forward Hayley Brock and midfielder Ashley Spivey collected All-ACC honors Thursday. Brock was named to the All-ACC second team for the second year in a row, while Spivey made the All-ACC third team.

Brock, a senior, leads the Terps in goals (12) and points (29) while Spivey is second with six goals and 15 points. Spivey suffered a knee injury in practice last week and is out for the season.

Forward Alex Doody replaced Spivey in the starting lineup the last two matches, a 3-1 win over Pittsburgh on Oct. 31 and a 6-1 loss on Sunday to No. 1 Virginia.

Last season, Brock was named to the All-ACC tournament team as well as the All-ACC second team, and Spivey was on the ACC All-Freshman team.

The Terps are 10-10 and must until the NCAA tournament selection on Nov. 11 to find out if they will receive an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament.

North Carolina’s Crystal Dunn was named Offensive Player of the Year, Florida State’s Kassey Kallman earned Defensive Player of the Year, Notre Dame’s Morgan Andrews was Freshman of the Year and Virginia’s Steve Swanson was Coach of the Year.
