Its the one thought we’ve all had on our minds as we enter into this new spring semester: Why can’t we have more Internet rendezvous with football head coach Randy Edsall?
As though the athletic department heard our cries, lo and behold officials announced yesterday a Google+ Hangout.
Yes, Google+, that most popular of social media sites, will host the Hangout on National Signing Day, Feb. 6, at 4 p.m.
The moderator of that chat will be none other than noted Pittsburgh Steelers fan and occasional Terps quarterback C.J. Brown. Fans can send their numerous questions via Facebook,Twitter (#MarylandFootball), email or Coach Edsall’s Google+ page, for all those into that thing (read: no one because it’s Google+).
So, we, as a university community, now have two weeks to come up with our best and hardest-hitting questions for our dear ball coach.
Who is his jaw squarer and how can I book an appointment? Does coaching for the Jacksonville Jaguars really take four years off your life? Team Sasha or Team Malia?
We don’t yet know how Randy Edsall’s Google+ Hangout will go, but we do know this: Tens of people will be watching. He better bring his A Game.
