Wisconsin

2013 record: 9-4, 6-2 Big Ten

Coach: Gary Andersen

Players to watch:

1) Running back Melvin Gordon: Behind running backs Montee Ball and James White in 2012, Gordon played in 13 games last season ago. With the boost in playing time, he ranked 10th in the country with 1,609 rushing yards and scored 12 times.

2) Center Dan Voltz: The 6-foot-3 center was named as a candidate for the Rimington Trophy, which is given to the best center in college football. Voltz will help stabilize an offensive line responsible for opening holes for Gordon and protecting quarterback Tanner McEvoy.

Did you know?: Camp Randall Stadium, where the Badgers play their home games, is the fourth oldest stadium in college football.

Season outlook: The Badgers lost their season opener to No. 12 LSU on Saturday night, but they have one ranked team remaining on their schedule. Entering their game with the Terps on Oct. 25, the Badgers might still have one loss. With their talent and a favorable conference schedule, the Badgers can still finish the season with just two or three losses.
