Logan Aronhalt
Former Terrapins men’s basketball guard Logan Aronhalt signed a contract Monday to play professional basketball in Italy next season for Unione Cestistica Casalpusterlengo, he announced via Twitter.
Aronhalt played his fifth-year senior season for the Terps, averaging six points per game and shooting 43.4 percent from 3-point range, after transerferring from Albany.
The Zanesville, Ohio, native provided leadership and experience off the bench for a young and inconsistent Terps team last season.
Aronhalt scored a season-high 26 points and shot 7-of-12 from beyond the 3-point arc in the Terps’ 69-58 loss at Boston College on Feb. 19. He also made 5-of-7 3-pointers and scored 15 points in a 86-70 victory over Niagara in the first round of the National Invitational Tournament.
The contract’s details have not yet been released.
