Stylebook

This app channels Cher Horowitz’s amazing virtual dress-up computer program from Clueless.

What you have to do is take pictures of items in your closet, and the app allows you to put outfits together. You can categorize the items in your closet and place them onto a blank page to see what works together. There is also a calendar feature that allows you to plan your outfit for the week.

If it’s 8:40 a.m. and you’re running late for your 9 a.m. class, you can look back and pick out an outfit that already looks good without having to try it on.

The app is $3.99 in the iTunes store.

MyNCLA

Nail stickers are great for anyone who is not able to do their nails well themselves.

Stickers are perfect for nail art because they allow people to design their nails in unique colors and patterns. This app takes nail self-expression to the next level — with it, you can customize the design on your nails. Take a picture of anything and the company will mail your custom nail stickers to you.

The app is free, but the nail stickers cost $19.

ASAP54

With this app, if you see someone on McKeldin Mall walking around in a great pair of shoes, you can snap a picture.

Through an image search, the app finds a pair of shoes that looks like the ones you were just drooling over, or even the exact pair. You can follow friends and see what they are shopping for as well.

This app is also free in the iTunes app store.

OPI

If you have an obsession with nail polish, OPI’s app allows you to tap into it (literally).

Through this nail polish app, a virtual hand with an adjustable complexion tries on every color of OPI imaginable. You can categorize it by colors and different OPI collections. Each polish you “heart” on the app goes into a separate folder of nail polishes you already know you like.

Kevin Nails on Lehigh Road can get busy, so having nail polish already picked out will save time at the salon.

This app is also free in the iTunes app store.
