The Terps (2-0) host a much-improved West Virginia (1-1) team that challenged No. 3 Alabama in week one before thrashing Towson last Saturday.

2013: Terps 37, Mountaineers 0

West Virginia committed three six turnovers, and the Terps took advantage by plastering the Mountaineers on rainy day at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore.

2012: Mountaineers 31, Terps 21

Quarterback Perry Hills and the Terps traveled to West Virginia as heavy underdogs, but the game didn’t play out in lopsided fashion. Still, the Mountaineers relied on big plays from wide receiver Tavon Austin to claim a victory.

2011: Mountaineers 37, Terps 31

After beating Miami in Edsall’s first game as coach, the Terps entered a home matchup against West Virginia in week two with high expectations. But quarterback Danny O’Brien threw three interceptions, and the Terps fell to the then-No. 18 Mountaineers.
