University of Maryland and Prince George’s County Police are investigating a burglary that took place off the campus Friday morning, according to a University of Maryland safety notice.
University Police responded to the 4600 block of College Avenue at about 10:08 a.m. on Friday, where they met with Prince George’s County Police to investigate a burglary. Two male university students reported that a suspect entered into their residence through an unlocked door, went into a bedroom and fled upon realizing that the room was occupied, according to the notice. The suspect left with some of the victims’ belongings.
An investigation of this incident is still underway. Police encourage anyone with information regarding this case to contact them at 301-352-1200.
