University of Maryland and Prince George’s County Police are investigating a burglary that took place off the campus between Wednesday night and Thursday morning, according to a University of Maryland safety notice.
University Police responded to the 4800 block of College Avenue at about 8:31 a.m. on Thursday, where they met with Prince George’s County Police to investigate a burglary. Three university students reported that between 11 p.m. the previous night and 6 a.m. that morning, someone entered their residence and stole their property, according to the notice. An exterior door to the residence was unlocked at the time of the break-in.
