Kristi Toliver, Guard, Los Angeles Sparks
2016 stats: 31.4 mpg, 12.9 ppg, 3 rpg, 4 apg, 0.8 spg, 46.2 FG%
Skinny: Toliver is in her seventh season with the Sparks and continues to shine as one of the team’s starting guards. She leads the team in minutes per game and is third on the team in points per game. She set a career-high with 10 assists May 24 and most recently scored 13 points and grabbed seven rebounds in a June 4 win against the San Antonio Stars.
Marissa Coleman, Forward, Indiana Fever
2016 stats: 29.7 mpg, 9.6 ppg, 3.7 rpg, 2 apg, 0.4 spg, 34.3 FG%
Skinny: Coleman starts at forward for the Fever, and the team has started the season with a 4-3 record. In Indiana’s 88-77 win over the Connecticut Sun June 5, Coleman matched her season-high with 12 points to go with four rebounds, three assists and a steal.
Alyssa Thomas, Forward, Connecticut Sun
2016 stats: 25.9 mpg, 10 ppg, 4.8 rpg, 1.6 apg, 2 spg, 46.8 FG%
Skinny: Thomas has been a starter for the Sun since her rookie year in 2014, and she’s continuing to show consistency to open her third season in the WNBA. She recorded a season-high 20 points in the Sun’s 88-77 loss to the Fever June 5.
Crystal Langhorne, Forward, Seattle Storm
2016 stats: 24 mpg, 7.9 ppg, 4.4 rpg, 1 apg, 0.7 spg, 58.1 FG%
Skinny: Langhorne is embarking on her ninth season in the league and third with the Storm. After having averaged double-digit points in every season since 2009, Langhorne hasn’t had her best start to a season. She notched a season-best 18 points in a 93-81 win over Connecticut May 28.
Brene Moseley, Guard, Indiana Fever
2016 stats: 11.3 mpg, 2.2 ppg, 0.3 rpg, 1.5 apg, 0.3 spg, 31.6 FG%
Skinny: A second-round pick in April’s WNBA draft, Moseley played in each of the Fever’s first seven games before not earning any playing time June 5 against Connecticut. Moseley’s season-high seven points came in her debut May 14.
Lynetta Kizer, Forward, Indiana Fever
2016 stats: 11.7 mpg, 5.3 ppg, 2.9 rpg, 0.6 apg, 0.5 spg, 48.6 FG%
Skinny: After starting 14 games for the Fever last season, Kizer has come off the bench in her seven performances in 2016. She scored a career-high 20 points June 1, though, helping lead the Fever to an 85-75 win against Seattle.
Tianna Hawkins, Forward, Washington Mystics
2016 stats: 8.7 mpg, 4.3 ppg, 2.7 rpg, 0.3 apg, 0.1 spg, 48.1 FG%
Skinny: Hawkins continues to see minutes off the bench in her third WNBA season. On June 5 against Atlanta, Hawkins scored a season-high 10 points and added four rebounds.
