“What’s a college student to do
When you’re hungry and have only a dollar or two?
Spend your last few Terp Bucks and head to a kitchen
‘Cause this recipe is delicious and bitchin'”
Patrick Basler
It’s the end of the semester, and much like your patience for classes and exams, food supplies are dwindling. The once-impressive number of dining points you hoarded through the cold winter is now smaller than ever, and the package of gross-looking granola bars your mom sent you expired eight months ago.
But you have one lifeline left: those last 10 Terp Bucks. Sure, you could spend them slowly, buying one sad, measly candy bar at a time, but who wants to see them waste away, as if mimicking your end-of-the-semester morale? Nay, nay — it’s far better to go out with a bang, a celebratory dinner to cap off another semester gone by.
So grab your swipe, head over to the Commons Shop and get ready to make a delicious meal that will be the envy of all your friends whose tall skim latte habits left them with even fewer Terp Bucks than you.

After your shopping spree, head to a kitchen. Maybe the one in your dorm’s basement or a friend’s apartment — all you need is an oven and a place to prep.
Prep time: 10 minutes.
Cook Time 15 to 20 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Begin by laying out your pitas — the package comes with six, but the recipe only makes four pizzas.
Spread the ranch dressing on the pitas, covering the surface.
Crumble the feta cheese on each pizza, covering it evenly.
Microwave the three chicken tenders from the frozen dinner, following the instructions on the box. When they are cooked, cut them into smaller pieces.
Toss the chicken pieces in a bowl with the hot sauce from several packets, and place the chicken evenly on the pizzas.
Dice the tomato and add the desired amount.
Drizzle more hot sauce on each pizza, using more or less depending on your desired spiciness.
Put in heated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, until pita is golden-brown and crispy around the edges.
Enjoy!
While these crunchy, deliciously spicy pizzas are as close to 10-Terp-Buck perfection as you can get, they could always be made better with things already in your fridge — peppers, olives, artichokes (if you’re a classy college student) could all make it even tastier. So go crazy, and don’t forget to make those last few Terp Bucks worth it.
