Police are investigating an assault that took place off the campus Wednesday evening and left a man wounded, according to a University of Maryland safety notice.
A male student reported to Prince George’s County Police that an unknown person cut him at about 5 p.m., according to the notice. The student is being treated for a nonlife-threatening injury, and the suspect’s motive and description are unknown at this time.
