For Maryland fans, the highlight of Saturday’s loss to Wisconsin didn’t come on the court, where the Terrapins men’s basketball team turned in arguably its worst performance of the season. Instead, it came from the student section during the media timeout with under eight minutes to go in the first half, when this year’s flash mob was unveiled.

This year’s Star Wars-inspired performance even included cameos by ESPN commentators Bob Wischusen and Stephanie White, who joined the fans during the end of the choreographed dance.

The flash mob came as Wisconsin was dominating Maryland in every phase of the game. The Badgers closed the first half on a 29-7 run that sucked much of the energy out of Xfinity Center.
