Maryland basketball fans are very familiar with former Terp Dez Wells’ athleticism. From 2012 through 2015, the bouncy guard/forward made a habit of dunking all over innocent opponents and sending Xfinity Center crowds into moments of absolute delirium.
As it turns out, Wells, who is now a member of the Oklahoma City Thunder’s Developmental League team, is still up to his old tricks. In this recent highlight, he found himself on the opposite side of an encounter at the rim. But that didn’t stop him from pulling off another amazing play.
Take a look at this Vine, which shows the 23-year-old rejecting Xavier Silas at the hoop like he was a bad job application:
Poor Silas thought he had himself an easy bucket, only to see his potential moment of glory turn into one of tremendous sadness. It looks like he learned a lesson that everyone in College Park already know: No one posterizes Dez Wells. Dez Wells does the posterizing.
