Terrapins football defensive tackle Quinton Jefferson has been added to the 2016 Senior Bowl roster and will join his former college teammate, defensive back Sean Davis.

While Jefferson isn’t a senior, the redshirt junior is a fourth-year graduate. He declared for the NFL draft on Dec. 17.

An honorable mention All-Big Ten coaches’ selection, Jefferson was second on the team in sacks (6.5) and third in tackles for loss (12.5). He started all 12 games and recorded 39 tackles, seventh on the team, an interception, blocked kick, forced fumble and fumble recovery.

Davis accepted his invitation to the Senior Bowl in November. He led the Terps and was second in the Big Ten with five forced fumbles. He was also second on the team with 7.3 tackles per game.

The Senior Bowl will take place on Jan. 30 at 2:30 p.m. in Mobile, Alabama and will be shown on NFL Network.
