Black Ops
The Terrapins men’s basketball team has already donned both the white and black “Maryland Pride” uniforms this season. So it was only a matter of time before the Under Armour Ops uniforms hit the hardwood.
The Terps will follow the model the football team used this year and unveil their own Black Ops uniforms for tomorrow’s game against No. 1 Duke at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
It’s sure to be a tough game for the Terps. Though they’re still the top-ranked team in the nation, the Blue Devils are coming off an embarrassing home loss to Miami, 90-63. Coach Mike Krzyzewski’s team has won 11 of its past 12 contests immediately following losses of 15 points or more.
With that kind of history following losses, t’s possible the Terps are in for a rude awakening when they step into Duke’s historic arena in front of an always raucous crowd.
But if they do lose, at least they’re going to look snazzy doing it.
