Swedish House Mafia
Swedish House Mafia – Don’t You Worry Child
Granted, this track came out in August, but it’s surprisingly still not on people’s radars. Swedish House Mafia announced a couple months ago that they would be separating after One Last Tour and focusing more on their individual careers, which came as quite a shock to the Electronic Dance Music scene. Sebastian Ingrosso, Axwell and Steve Angello are possibly the three biggest names in the EDM industry at the moment and it has been incredible to see their rise to fame. In the group’s latest hit single featuring John Martin, “Don’t You Worry Child” brings a powerful and uplifting beat that promises to be another anthem. If you haven’t already heard about this song, now is the time to listen to it – even if you’re not a fan of house music. Enjoy.
Bonus: If you never got a chance to see Swedish House Mafia’s documentary, this is must-see behind the scenes footage of the trio making their smash single “One.”
Bob Sinclar feat. Ben Onono – Rainbow of Love
I’ve never heard a song that puts me in a better mood than “Rainbow of Love.” Bob Sinclar found the right combination of chords, instrumentals and lyrics to bring this crazy good track. This French DJ/Producer, who owns the Yellow Productions label, is all about spreading positivity with his music. I’ll let the song speak for itself, but this is a must download and I highly suggest you give it a listen.
Driicky Graham – Snapbacks & Tattoos
I was turned onto Driicky Graham after my roommate played “Snapbacks & Tattoos” last week and immediately got sucked in. This 20 year old from North Carolina has been rapping pretty much his whole life, but has only really seen success over the past two years. He’s currently signed with independent record labels Nu World Era Music Group and E1 Music, who helped him drop his first mixtape in June, entitled Ya Gotta Start Somewhere. “Snapbacks & Tattoos has got a beat that goes hard and it rose to #8 on the BET “106” Countdown, which is no small feat. Check out what Driicky Graham has to offer and look out for more work to come soon.
