Former Terrapin defensive tackle and undrafted free agent Conrad Bolston signed with the Minnesota Vikings on Monday.
With the Terps, Bolston started for three years and recorded 107 tackles and 10 sacks in 44 games. He entered last season on the watch list for the Outland Trophy, an award given to the nation’s top lineman, but Bolston struggled to live up to the preseason expectations.
He finished with 35 tackles and just 1.5 sacks.
He had his best season in 2005, recording 38 tackles and five sacks, leading to the high expectations last year.
Bolston joins former teammates Sam Hollenbach, Stephon Heyer and David Holloway as undrafted free agents to sign with NFL clubs.
