The Terrapins men’s basketball team has earned the No. 3 seed in the Big Ten Tournament after dropping their final regular-season game at Indiana, 80-62. They received a double bye and won’t play until Friday, the third day of the tournament.

Indiana is the top seed in the bracket, while Michigan State is the No. 2 seed.

The Terps lost four of their final six regular-season games, capped by the loss to the Hoosiers, who won the conference regular- season title.

Coach Mark Turgeon’s team will play the winner of a second-round game played between No. 6-seed Wisconsin and No. 11-seed Nebraska/No. 14-seed Rutgers.

The Terps finished the regular season 24-7 a year after posting a 26-5 mark.
