After students endured more than a week without South Campus Dining Hall stir fry when snow damage to the building caused the station to close, Mongolian Grill reopened Friday at 11 a.m., according to Dining Services.
Snow from Winter Storm Jonas resulted in a leak above the grill, Dining Services officials said.
“Wish there was an exciting story,” Dining Services spokesman Bart Hipple wrote in an email. “We inspected this morning and are satisfied that the leak has been fixed and that the building has dried to the point that there is no danger of contaminating cooking surfaces or food.”
Students no longer have to go stir-crazy without their stir fry, as the station will return to serving its staple meals.
