Running back Wes Brown runs down the field past two Penn State defenders during the Terps’ 20-19 victory over the Nittany Lions at Beaver Stadium on Nov. 1, 2014.

The Terrapins football team and No. 12 Michigan State are about an hour away from kicking off the first night game at Byrd Stadium since 2011. In the meantime, here is the injury report for coach Randy Edsall’s squad, which brings back some important pieces coming off a bye week.

– After missing back-to-back games at Wisconsin and Penn State because of the reoccurrence of a shoulder injury, outside linebacker Matt Robinson will return to the Terps’ starting lineup against the Spartans.

– Christian Carpenter is also back after missing four games. He’ll take over the long-snapping duties on extra points and field goals, while freshman Nate Adams will snap for the punt unit.

– Sophomore Wes Brown will start at running back over Brandon Ross.

– With Jeremiah Johnson still nursing a sore hamstring, Sean Davis will make his second straight start at corner. Zach Dancel will again replace Davis as safety while Johnson will play in the nickel package.

– Junior running back Albert Reid will miss his sixth straight game with a knee injury.
