Prince George’s County Police is investigating a report of a man armed with a taser near the University of Maryland campus Saturday morning, according to a UMD Alert.
Three male suspects were last seen in the area of 4439 Leigh Rd., according to the alert. One suspect was wearing a dark jacket with white stripes on the sleeves. The other two men were wearing light-colored jackets, last seen fleeing southbound on Baltimore Avenue.
The incident was later reclassified as a theft with a taser involved, according to another alert.
