Hazing photos of what appears to be Delta Tau Delta pledges were posted on the website of Terp Weekly Edition, a weekly news radio show produced by the journalism school and broadcast on WMUC-FM and via podcast hosted on the university network.
The hazing photos depict men wearing “Delt” T-shirts and drinking alcohol; wet shirtless men laying face down on a cement floor and one photo described by Terp Weekly Edition as pledges with pig’s feet in their mouths.
University officials announced Thursday that Delta Tau Delta had been disbanded for years of rampant hazing. Linda Clement, the university’s vice president of student affairs, said in the Terp Weekly Edition report that officials are still deciding whether to pursue criminal charges against fraternity members.
Delta Tau Delta has been ordered to vacate their house on Fraternity Row by the end of the month.
