Man arrested in Wawa parking lot for masturbating

A Hyattsville man accused of masturbating in his car in the Wawa parking lot was arrested Thursday evening, police said.

Prince George’s County Police spotted 26-year-old Balden Motta’s upper body jerking while sitting in his car at 7:23 p.m. Thursday. Police thought he might be having a seizure, according to the police report.

When officers approached the car, however, they noticed Motta was fondling his exposed penis.

Motta was charged with indecent exposure and disorderly conduct, according to Maryland’s electronic court records.

Motta does not seem to be connected to the serial Peeping Tom who sexually assaulted two female students in homes last month and exposed himself to several others, according to the officers’ report.

County police also arrested a different man last week for masturbating in his car on Knox Road.
