The Terrapins men’s basketball team’s broadcast schedule for this season was released Wednesday and the Terps are slated to play 19 nationally televised games.
They won’t have to wait long to play in the spotlight, either, as their opener against Connecticut at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center will be aired Nov. 8 on ESPN2. Home nonconference games against Oregon State on Nov. 17, Morgan State on Nov. 29 and Tulsa on Dec. 29 will be on ESPNU, while the Terps three contests in the Paradise Jam Tournament in the Virgin Islands will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network.
The Terps play at Ohio State on Dec. 4 in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge on ESPN2.
A majority of the Terps’ ACC contests will be aired on the ESPN family of networks. Games at Duke and North Carolina and a home tilt against Notre Dame fall into that category.
The Terps will play twice on ESPN’s Big Monday, first at Virginia on Feb. 10 and then again when final-four participant Syracuse visits College Park two weeks later.
The Cavaliers come to Comcast Center March 9 for the Terps’ final ACC regular-season game, which will be aired on CBS.
