Momentum: The Terps made a brief appearance in the AP Top 25 but were knocked out by a 63-0 loss at Florida State last week, their worst defeat since 1993. Virginia dropped a 48-27 matchup at home to Ball State.
Storyline you may have heard: This is the last time these border rivals will play as ACC teams.
Injuries: WR Daniel Adams (knee, probable); OL Silvano Altamirano (back, probable); DL Zeke Riser (foot, probable); WR Nigel King (back, probable); ILB Cole Farrand (hand, probable); TE Dave Stinebaugh (knee, probable); QB C.J. Brown (head, doubtful); OLB Matt Robinson (shoulder, out); OT Nick Klemm (foot, out); CB Jeremiah Johnson (toe, out); K Adam Greene (quad, out); FB Tyler Cierski (calf, out); WR Tyrek Cheeseboro (head, out).
Terps three to watch: Whoever is playing quarterback. Running back Brandon Ross will try to get back on track after a minus-1 yard performance last week. Wide Receiver Stefon Diggs has been quiet recently as well.
Cavaliers three to watch: Quarterback David Watford is a dual-threat, running back Kevin Parks rushed for 100 yards in the loss to Ball State and the Virginia secondary will have its hands full with the Terps playmakers.
Fashion update: Black helmets, red jerseys, black pants — the same as against Florida International in the opener.
Predictions: Daniel — Terps 24, Cavaliers 17. Aaron — Terps 31, Cavaliers 20
