Chris Brown splits from his girlfriend
R&B singer Chris Brown has confirmed that he and longtime girlfriend Karrueche Tran are calling it quits — and it seem like Rihanna has something to do with it. “I have decided to be single to focus on my career,” Chris said in a statement to Gossip Cop. “I love Karrueche very much but I don’t want to see her hurt over my friendship with Rihanna. I’d rather be single allowing us to both be happy in our lives.” The news of Chris’s break-up came after him and Rihanna were spot dancing and kissing in Manhattan on Monday. In other words, it looks like Chris and RiRi might be getting back together, folks … guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
Mariah vs. Nicki: Who will win?
Drama has already begun on American Idol this season and this time it’s between the judges. As many know, new judges Keith Urban, Mariah Carey and Nick Minaj have been all the talk since this summer, now everyone is talking for a slightly different reason. Rapper Nicki Minaj has been accused of threatening legendary singer, Mariah Carey saying, “If I had a gun, I would shoot a b***h,”as she proceeded to walk off of set. However, Nicki took to Twitter to defend herself. “I guess it hurts 2 have producers tell u to ur face that nicki is the best judge we’ve had since simon. Aww, poor u. Keep them lies cmn.” It seems as though the drama is continuing to heat up. Maybe it’s time to bring back Simon and Paula — at least their bickering was funny.
The Oscar Host is announced
It has been confirmed that this year’s Oscars’ host will be none other than funny man Seth MacFarlane. Seth is best known for being the voice of Family Guy’s Peter Griffin and creating the summer hit movie Ted. “I will do my utmost to live up to the high standards set forth by my predecessors and I hope they don’t find out I hosted the Charlie Sheen Roast,” joked Seth. The Academy Awards will air on Feb. 24th on ABC. We look forward to hearing his crude, yet hilarious jokes.
