The Terrapin men’s basketball team will travel to Champaign, Ill., to face Illinois in the 2006 ACC-Big Ten Challenge on Nov. 28.
The game will be nationally televised on ESPN.
Last season, the Terps defeated Minnesota 83-66 at home in the ACC-Big Ten Challenge. They have a 4-3 all-time record in the event.
The Terps and Illini have not met since 2001, when the Terps won 76-63. The Terps are 3-2 all time against Illinois.
The ACC is 7-0 against the Big Ten since the event began.
