Former Terrapin Chris McCray was on the Milwaukee Bucks’ 15-man roster as the team opened its season last night at Detroit.
McCray, a guard, averaged 10.7 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.6 assists in four seasons with the Terps. He was arguably their most consistent player last season before being ruled academically ineligible Jan. 23.
McCray, an undrafted free agent, was signed Sept. 21 and played in the preseason. In the Bucks’ final preseason game Oct. 27, McCray scored 10 points on 4-of-5 shooting in 24 minutes.
He joins Steve Blake – another former Terp – in Milwaukee. The two played together on the Terps in 2003.
