Primary voters on and near the campus experienced minimal difficulty with casting votes at polling locations, despite problems reported around the region.

Election officials at Ritchie Coliseum said they experienced difficulty opening polls because of technical problems, but were operational by 7:45 a.m. this morning. No student voters were turned away they said.

At the Stamp Student Union, officials reported no difficulties, and were processing voters on time this morning.

At other locations in Prince George’s, news organizations reported a lack of supplies and technical problems with voting machines caused election officials to turn some voters away.
