Sultan Oyeshile, a University of Maryland student, died in a car accident Saturday morning, according to reports by The Manning Times and WISTV.

Oyeshile, 22, was driving on Interstate 95 in South Carolina at about 6:15 a.m. when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into several trees, killing him. Three passengers in Oyeshile’s car were taken to Clarendon Memorial Hospital, where one passenger was released and another underwent surgery, according to the reports. The third passenger was transferred to another hospital.

All four people in the vehicle were wearing seatbelts. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is still investigating this incident.
