What to watch for Maryland: Senior Night

Maryland’s two pair of seniors will not exactly go down as a pair of players known for their playing time. Former walk-on Andrew Terrell has made his name known for his antics on the bench while he’s averaged 1.8 minutes per game. Ivan Bender’s seen quite a bit more playing time at 9.9 minutes per game, but he’s still started just 13 of the 78 games he’s appeared in. It will be worth seeing how much playing time Mark Turgeon gives his two seniors in their last game on the Xfinity Center court.

What to watch for Minnesota: Bubble

While Maryland’s NCAA tournament appearance is surely all but locked up, Minnesota’s chances are much more iffy, with Joe Lunardi currently listing the Golden Gophers as a No. 10 seed. Minnesota doesn’t own any particularly notable road wins at this point, so a chance to knock off a ranked team on the road coming off back-to-back losses is awfully juicy for them.
