Black Ops
As soon as the Terrapins football team ran onto the Capital One Field at Byrd Stadium wearing its black Maryland Pride jerseys two weeks ago against Georgia Tech, it was easy to predict what it would don for its Blackout game against Florida State on Saturday.
Yesterday, it became official. The Terps and Under Armour unveiled the Black Ops jerseys, the brand-new look the team will showcase on Senior Day.
While new, though, they’re not far different than any of the other alternate uniforms Terps have worn this season. They’re essentially a single-color version of the Maryland Pride jerseys, and they’re exactly an all-black version of the White Ops uniforms they wore at West Virginia earlier this season.
Still, it’s a good look. Maybe not good enough to help the Terps against No. 10 Florida State on Saturday, but good enough that if they do get blown out, they’ll look good doing it.
