Every week, staff writer James Crabtree-Hannigan will take a look at the careers of a number of former Maryland athletes embarking on professional careers in a variety of leagues. Every Monday, it’s former baseball players. The stats are from games through August 7.

2016 stats: .262 AVG, .366 OBP, 4 HR, 35 RBI, 60 K, 45 BB
