“This is probably my biggest concern with Trump, this cozy relationship with Putin. I think it’s really unusual and there’s a lot of bipartisan concern about it. Republicans seem as concerned as the Democrats,” said Brian Nolen of Bedford, New Hampshire. (Taylor Swaak/The Diamondback)

“In Virignia [last night] we got an Uber to the closest train station. This station was maybe a half a mile backed up, so we just flew our fingers out there like, ‘Hey, we’ve got spots for two more people.’ So we got two more women to jump in with us from Tennessee. They drove here all night,” said Vanessa Ramirez (right) of Tempe, Arizona. (Taylor Swaak/The Diamondback)

“It’s important that we all stick together and show that we’re fighting for something. But also, it’s important that we’re staying peaceful. … Rather than being violent to get attention, we’re showing strength in numbers,” said senior English major Cassie Osvatics. (Taylor Swaak/The Diamondback)

“I had some issues with the march to begin with — that it was organized by white women and that it wasn’t as inclusive as we wanted it to be. And I was pretty impressed by the fact that they kind of got their shit together and allowed what seems like some pretty cool women of color and experienced organizers to take some lead,” said Valerie Wexler of Washington.
