Terrapins volleyball coach Tim Horsmon announced Monday that the program added Audrey Ludwig, who has served as head coach at Division III Hamline University since 2010, as an assistant head coach.
Ludwig was a four-year starter at St. Olaf College in Minnesota, where she graduated in 2007. She joined her alma matter as an assistant two years later.
Ludwig also has coaching experience at the club volleyball level and is expected to help the Terps’ recruiting efforts.
“Audrey has run all aspects of her own program, is a self-starter and an extremely competitive person,” Horsmon said in a news release. “That competitiveness coupled with her outgoing and confident personality will make her a force in recruiting.”
The Terps are coming off of a 17-15 season, and return all but two players for the 2013 season next fall.
