Beyonce, a fake?

Beyonce Fakes It

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, it is true. Beyonce has faked it—a phrase no man hopes to hear. All jokes aside, singer Beyonce found herself in a little predicament this week after lip-syncing “The Star-Spangled Banner” while performing at the inauguration ceremony for President Obama. According to the Washingtonian, the Marine Corps Band “President’s Own” was not performing live either, even though the band director was conducting band members with such energy. Whether this is really newsworthy or not, I’ll let you all decide. In the meantime, I’m still crazy in love with Bey.

Snoop Lion a fake?

The 41-year-old rapper Snoop Dogg — Oops! I mean Snoop Lion (insert a roll of the eyes here) — is being sued by Bunny Wailer, who is an original member of Bob Marley and the Wailers. According to TMZ, Bunny says that Snoop is a fake who is “posing as a Rastafarian to make a movie and sell records.” However, Snoop seems not to be giving any cares in the world. Just this week, Snoop showed up at LAX wearing a dope Bob Marley shirt with a Rasta cap to match. Why can’t we all be like Bob and just be happy?

Shaggy, It Wasn’t Me

Despite what you may have heard, Reggae singer Shaggy is still alive and kicking. This week, there were several reports falsely stating that Shaggy was dead. To put the matter in perspective, the rumor was so widely accepted that his Wikipedia page was also updated, marking the date of him passing. However other credible sources have came out declaring the previous reports as the latest in celebrity death hoaxes. Shaggy falls in good company though. What do Justin Bieber, Tony Danza, Jerry Springer, Morgan Freeman, Jon Bon Jovi and Shaggy all have in common? They’ve all died and come back to life!
