The Terps unveiled newly redesigned uniforms for the 2011 football season on Aug. 22, 2011 in a fashion show on campus. Under Armour founder and CEO Kevin Plank (top left) spoke at the event about the new uniforms and the new look being cultivated for Terrapins athletics.

The Terps opened their 2011 season at Byrd Stadium against Miami on ESPN on Sept. 5, 2011. After warming up on the field in a look from the fashion show, they changed in the locker room and debuted the Maryland Pride uniform. The state flag-inspired uniform drew reactions from fans and critics all over the country and brought national attention to the Terps’ new garb.

The Terps lacrosse teams debuted versions of the Pride uniforms in 2012. The men unveiled a black version of the uniform in their victory over Johns Hopkins in Baltimore on April 14, 2012, and the women unveiled their uniform against Virginia Tech the same day in College Park.

The Terps presented yet another set of new uniforms for the 2012 season, abandoning the designs unveiled a year before. The helmets also featured a black version, along with white, red and black pants. The new look was heavily inspired by the Maryland flag, featuring a flag print on the numbers and yellow and black piping throughout.

In addition to the new standard set of uniforms, the Terps wore three more new special ensembles including a black edition of the Maryland Pride uniforms (top right), and the new White Ops (top left) and Black Ops (bottom) uniforms.

The men’s and women’s soccer teams debuted versions of the Maryland Pride uniforms for the 2012 season.

The Terps men’s basketball team unveiled new uniforms for the 2012-2013 season at Maryland Madness. These used many of the same motifs as the football uniforms including flag print and black and yellow piping. The design came in four colors: red, black, white and gold.

The Terps women’s basketball team also debuted new uniforms for the 2012-2013 season at Maryland Madness. The outfits were similar to the men’s with a few notable differences, including the players’ names being placed underneath the numbers on the back.

The Terps wore special edition uniforms in their November 9, 2012 game against Kentucky in the newly opened Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. The attire paid homage to the Brooklyn Dodgers with a look meant to mimic classic wool baseball jerseys.

The men’s basketball team also sported black and white Maryland Pride uniforms in the 2012-2013 season.

The Terps women’s basketball team wore special pink uniforms against Virginia and Clemson for Play 4Kay Pink Games in February.

The Terps men’s lacrosse team debuted its own White Ops and Black Ops uniforms as well in 2013.
