At 6-foot-2 with a 4.7 40-yard-dash time, Jones brings depth at a position that just lost Big Ten Wide Receiver of the Year DJ Moore to the 2018 NFL Draft. Jones, the No. 98 prospect from the state of Florida, per 247Sports, is the fourth three-star wide receiver to commit to Maryland, joining Darryl Jones, Dontay Demus Jr. and Brian Cobbs. He is also ranked the No. 100 wide receiver in the country, according to 247Sports.
Jones becomes the 24th commit to coach DJ Durkin’s 2018 recruiting class that is ranked in the top-20 of 247Sports’ composite rankings.
