The University of Maryland launched a COVID-19 dashboard Wednesday to track campus testing and the virus’s spread. The data will be updated weekly.

The dashboard will record the number of tests administered, the number of positive cases and the positivity rate for university-administered tests, university President Darryll Pines wrote in a campuswide email Wednesday. The dashboard will also track campus density, as well as quarantine and isolation bed availability.

The university will test more than 6,000 community members this week, Pines wrote. Registration for free on-campus testing in the weeks of Aug. 24 and Aug. 31 remain open.
