It was another eventful weekend in the NFL, so let’s look at how all of the former Terps did.

WR DJ Moore

DJ Moore kicked off this week’s action on Thursday night against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The second-year wideout caught 9 passes for 89 yards in the Carolina Panthers 20-14 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

LB Jermaine Carter Jr.

Jermaine Carter Jr also made an impact for the Panthers, recording two tackles and notching half a sack. After blocking a punt in week one, Carter is looking to become a mainstay in the Panthers’ linebacker group.

WR Stefon Diggs

On Sunday, Stefon Diggs scored his first touchdown of the season on a 45-yard pass in the Minnesota Vikings 21-16 loss to the Green Bay Packers. It was Diggs’ only catch of the game.

DB Darnell Savage Jr.

On the other sideline, Darnell Savage Jr., who has cemented himself as a starter for the Packers, had another big game. He finished the contest with six tackles, a forced fumble and a deflected pass that wound up being intercepted. If Savage keeps having impressive performances like this, he could wind up being one of the best rookies in the 2019 class.

TE Vernon Davis

Vernon Davis had a relatively quiet day for the Washington Redskins while filling in at starting tight end. The veteran only recording three catches for 29 yards in the Redskins 31-21 loss to the Dallas Cowboys.

DB J.C. Jackson

J.C. Jackson recorded two total tackles and a pass deflection in the New England Patriots 43-0 win over the Miami Dolphins.

DL Byron Cowart

After not appearing in the first week of the season, Byron Cowart saw game time for the Patriots on Sunday. Although he did not see too much of the field, he did record one tackle for the Patriots.

RB Ty Johnson

Ty Johnson received multiple carries for the first time in his NFL career in the Detroit Lions 13-10 win over the Los Angeles Chargers. He finished the game with five carries for 30 yards. Johnson is starting to make a name for himself in the backfield, proving a good third option to Kerryon Johnson and CJ Anderson.

DL Quinton Jefferson

After a monster week one, in which he got two sacks, Quinton Jefferson had a quiet outing this week. He recorded just one tackle in the Seahawks 28-26 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.

DB Sean Davis

For the Steelers, Sean Davis saw action for the first time this season in the loss. The safety recorded five tackles before leaving the game with a shoulder injury.

DL Yannick Ngakoue

Yannick Ngakoue was inactive for the Jaguars 13-12 loss to the Houston Texans after sitting out all week with a hamstring injury.

LB Josh Woods

Josh Woods did not record any statistics in the Chicago Bears 16-14 win over the Denver Broncos.
