The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating a cutting incident that took place near the University of Maryland’s campus early Saturday morning, according to a UMD Alert sent out at 2:25 a.m.

The incident took place near College Avenue and Baltimore Avenue, according to the alert. The suspect was identified as a man wearing a black coat with white lettering as well as black pants.

An “all clear” was issued at about 2:52 a.m., shortly after the first alert was sent out. The suspect reportedly fled the area.
